I went with the Mag 46s, but my first choice would be the Connie No.1s for the 08s.

I'll jump on this bandwagon!

I didn't vote because I have yet to smoke any of them (completely). I am, however, smoking my first Mag 50 at this moment. It is from an 08 HQ 10-box. Beautiful appearance and aroma. Opened up a little tight, although not too bad. Flavor so far is medium, a little woodsy with a slight hint of pepper. Enjoyable.

Looking forward to trying the 46 soon. Good luck with your choice!

Mag 50's for me have been good. One box with 5 left. Mag 46's have been terrific. One box 2 left. One box on order. Mag 48's are really great when I'm taking a pee....

I do like the 48's. Sir Winstons. One box with 15 left. I think my box needs more time.

I really LOVE the Mag 48 LE's, can't get enough of them, purchased 2 weeks back 10 sticks from Prez and they are great!. :):)

I also have Mag 46's (2008 stock - unsure of box code as I purchased them as singles) but whilst they are nice, they still have that slight taste of amonia toward the 2/3rd which concern me...

Mag48's I smoked a quarter of a box and I think that is very solid, short cigar.

Now box on the way.

Mag46's Sometimes very good, other times terrible,it is unpredictable.

If the size of the 48's was between the 46 and 50 you wouldn't need a poll.

The quality of the tobacco in the 48's is the best I've seen coming out of Cuba in years.

F#@k short fat cigars!

I couldn't agree more. Sir Winston is best but a longer Mag 48 might give it a run. Baby Robustos are an poor but presumably profitable smoke.

I love the Magnum Line ! Best way to smoke a cup of coffee ! <_<

I love 'em all but I voted for the 48 EL because although they are short and many people hate the petite robusto trend, I actually enjoy both the profile and the format of this little beauty

When this thread first started I voted for the Mag 46, but since then...I have to say, I've had many more enjoyable 48s than 46s. If only that weren't so darn short.

I voted no. 2, rarely lets me down.

Re the 48....victim of circumstance I think. On its own, the 48 is a great cigar in I think the perfect size for it. It's only that there are so many pointless short n fat cigars naturally people seem to get a bit sick of them. Sometimes it's nice to have a smoke that that's rich and tasty but doesn't take 1.5hrs to smoke.

my two cents :)

I voted No. 2 as well, though I haven't smoked the vaunted 08 Mag 46. The No. 2 has become my favorite Piramide these days. The almond notes are just so delicious. The only one of these four that I don't care for is the Mag 48.

Hard to go wrong with any of them other then the 48 EL, just too damn short for me. Love the Mag 50's and the 2's and 46's are also really good though the 46's are much better with at least 3 years on them. Sir Winnie's are also nice but typically I don't have that much time for one cigar. The one that is really a sweet smoke that you left off is the Connie # 1, those have been really really good since '07 forward imo.

I only had one 50 quite a while back when they were released as a regular edition. It was probably quite fresh but was merely ok. The last 46 was probably hiding in the humidor for about a 3/4 year but that was just amazing. The 48 have been getting better, the last one from czar box was really good. I would go with 46 and give it some time. As for the connie, the 2 and the Sir Winston I have no idea yet. But I'll give the Sir Winston a try today when I go to Duesseldorf, from what I read here and have read elsewhere they must be worth the money.

We've got a box of Mag 46's that are absolutlely gorgeous and wonderful smokes. Everytime I open the box you get this wonderful scent of barnyard, leather and spice...they are smoking really well.

My vote goes to the 46s. Love the size. I was a bit disappointed by the 48s. Neither size nor flavour could really convince me up to now. The P2s I haven't tried. I'm actually waiting for a box of 46s to pop up in the HQ section. Lisa, if any come in, please put my name on them.

I've found the Mag50's to be consistant and good, but in my opinion they don't have that cuban taste I'm looking for. To me they tasted NC. I've gone thru a cab of 10. Do the #2's have a different flavor profile?
