anacostiakat Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 1 - 2 inches of snow per hour coming down here. Must be about eight inches on the ground and 12 - 20 inches forcast for when it ends Sunday morn. Get out the shovels!
laficion Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 HEY HEY Jim, Forget the shovel Here's a better Idea All you have to do is, "FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS"
anacostiakat Posted December 19, 2009 Author Posted December 19, 2009 HEY HEY Jim, Forget the shovel Here's a better Idea All you have to do is, "FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS" Now there is an idea! I think it is too fluffy though right now. It was quite easy to shovel out the back walkway and a space for the dogs to poop. Although it was covered right back up pretty quickly.
bassman Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Snowing hard in Philly. Big hill near my house. Glad I still have my Flexible Flyer. I'll have fun with it tomorrow.

PigFish Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Almost 80 and a Le Hoyo du Roi for me yesterday. Same might be on the plate for today. I have been hammering the du Roi's like candy, killed better part of a box this week! - Piggy
anacostiakat Posted December 19, 2009 Author Posted December 19, 2009 I just got in from shoveling the back walkway and making another bombing zone for the dogs! Of course all my work of this morning was undone. I bet we have gotten around 16 - 18 inches so far. But it is blowing and drifting so that makes it tough to judge. I am waiting for it to stop before I attempt to attack the front again. Or maybe I'll just pay someone if they come by. They dropped the blizzard warning now and we are back to winter storm warming with 5 - 6 more inches before Sunday morn expected. Oh! We did see a plow come by on a crossing street! The Kat
thurmanmunson Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Just came in from shoveling 10,000 pounds of snow. I'm gonna take 3 pounds of asprin and a nap, then go out and do it all over again!
cabaiguan juan Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 In Charlottesville, there is close to 3 feet! tried shoveling, and then relized that the street hadn't been plowed so what was the point?
PigFish Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Just got done with some Kona coffee and a du Depute. I am thinking of setting up my chop saw in the front yard and doing a little finish work. Damn nice day here today. If it leaks into tomorrow I will smokin' and riding my Hog! Sorry about the snow guys. The only think white and wet around here is my wife stepping out of the shower! - Piggy
