Bartolomeo Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Cohiba Siglo V CLE APR 02 Firm feeling, tough draw at first Initial puff is pure Vanilla, citrus peel and grass Mild-Medium start and continues throughout smoke Wheat, vanilla cream, Dry-sweet taste on back of throat…..pleasant Want to smoke this slow Very pleasant, not a lot of change in flavor in 2/3 but consistent in original flavors Probably a tad too light tasting for me to buy a box but none the less very enjoyable, prefer the Sig III and IV a touch more b/c of flavor I have heard the latest offerings of the SigV are a bit more stronger 9.1/10 Bart
habanohal Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Very nice lookin smoke. Hey Bart....These are some pretty good smokes. Another BOTL wanted some 5 packs that I had left, so I shipped them , but was able too keep 3 of the cigars. I feel they need too be smoked soon , for they are looseing the "Umph" that I like
TrickNick Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Definitely a good smoke, but not one I pick up often. There are many other sticks I prefer in this vitola, but I think I may have to light one of these up again.
anacostiakat Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Thanks for the review. My '03 Vs were very good. Have not sampled the '05s or had an 08 yet. The III, IV and V have overtaken the VI for me.
bassman Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I like these. My 01s were definite medium bodied. 05 also medium, but 08 pretty close to full bodied smoke. All have in common a very sweet flavor. For my taste, the IV &V are much better than the VI or even the CoRo.
Ellery Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Thanks for the review. Great pics. Haven't tried too many of the Siglos but will def put this one on my list.
thechenman Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 As always Bart...nice review. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Loved the pics.
