As for the car, ask your husband to buy you a new one. Mercedes are very nice; tell your husband it will be much cheaper than divorce.

i remember an old national lampoon advice column where there was a heartwrenching letter with a litany of massively embarassing problems, signed 'name withheld upon request'.

the response was simply 'we do not withhold names. yours is xxxxwhatever'.

LOL, chances are the wife probably needs to do a little more walking anyway, and if she'd quit complaing, which Im sure she does, he probably wouldnt be cheating.
