jfury76 Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Good morning fellow FOH, It gives me great pleasure to announce the birth of my second son, Nathan Michael, on Wednesday morning, December 9th. He weighed 7lbs., 1oz. and was 19 inches long. Both baby and Mommy are resting comfortably and doing well. In celebration of this blessing last night I smoked my one and only Edmundo Dantes Conde 109 that I picked up two years ago while in Tijuana visiting Sr. Vargas of LCDH. I paired it with an LBV Porto from Taylor Fladgate. A sublime experience over 90 minutes of wonderful flavors that started out rather tame with tea and cream notes in the first third, building to soft spices and a touch of leather, and in the final third it became a powerhouse that whalloped me with a nicotine hit that I wasn't expecting, but I loved every moment of it. A solid 92. All the best of the holiday season to each and every one of you fine people.

Azksig Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Congrats! Was it a worthy cigar of a special occasion? I'm saving the exact same one for my wedding in May.
jfury76 Posted December 11, 2009 Author Posted December 11, 2009 Congrats! Was it a worthy cigar of a special occasion? I'm saving the exact same one for my wedding in May. Very worthy, indeed. At first I thought it was going to be a lamb, but the intensity gradually increased through the middle so much so that by the final third my head was spinning, but in a good way. The flavors were well-balanced and robust. I would say that it is worthy of any special occasion. To all who responded: Thank you for the well-wishes.
samb Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Congratulations Dad, lol. Sounds like a great smoke on a great day.
MIKA27 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Congratulations FURIOUS! Nathan Michael, a fine name and very similar to my son who was born August last year, Ethan Michael. May Nathan be blessed with good health and happiness. All the best, Mika and family.
