Cohiba Siglo II

Size: 5" (129mm) x 42

Construction: Superb. Nice triple cap. No soft spots.

Pre-light draw: Perfect resistance, slight hay and cinnamon flavor.

-first puff, hay, grass, and a subtle sweetness

-a little harsh, but enjoyable

-mild-medium, easy to retrohale once the harshness subsided.

-charcoal and cedar flavors are making themselves present with hints of burnt sugar. An interesting yet, enjoyable combo...

-beautiful sweet aroma. Very clean and enjoyable

-still fairly grassy with some sweet woody flavors

-2nd third... Stick is getting harsh and bitter

-creamy and grassy, bitterness is gone, now approaching the final third.

-final third is very grassy with a little more heft. Not too enjoyable at this point probably gonna toss it....

Final rating: 89. Good but not worth the pricetag. Luckily this was a gift.

Thanks for the review. I rather like the Sig IIs myself. But you're right on the price point. There are many better Cuban cigars for far less coin.
