cigarros Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 This box has been bought in Berlin one month ago. It's long and thin cigar 38 x 192. Packaging in Dress-Box 25 af. Release contain only 2400 boxes, my box has number 1560. Wrapper has fantastic colorado-carmelito (by the name of havanas monks Carmelitians) colour. Construction, draw and taste - fantastic! The beginning – cigar seems like light, not strong, smelling sweet and harmonious, not foretelling «explosion of emotions» and a storm of delights. Then 2\3 – an accruing strenght in taste and harmony of aromas in coffee, nut and leather scale. In the beginning 3\3 – sharp strengthening of intensity of taste and already in the middle 3\3 the same sharp decrease in this intensity!!! Unexpected surprise, at excellent balance and harmony of taste – here the short resume of this really a masterpiece. More picks here.

Professor Twain Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 These are beautiful cigars. I picked up a 5 pack and smoked one with Kilroy a couple of weeks ago. We both came to the same conclusion. They were a mild, muted Bolivar. They didn't have the strength and bold Bolivar earthy taste I have come to expect with a Boli PC. I had anticipated that the thin ring gauge on this and the fact that it was a Regional Edition would mean a superior cigar. I hope the other 4 are better.

I was quite surprised how mild the flavors were from that cigar! It was typical Bolivar flavors with a great drawer, burn etc but just mild. The tobacco taste out shined any earthy, rich leather that you'd expect. Ironically the same thing could be said about the RA Celestinos Finos we had a week later!
cigarros Posted December 11, 2009 Author Posted December 11, 2009 Agree compleatly! Boli - one of the best CC brands for real aficionados: excelent aroma, rich taste and beauty wrapper. It's my favorit brand!
