I've been watching this vid since JC's "for the under 60 crowd" thread. I'm not big on posting videos, as I don't know how it effects forum

bandwidth, but I couldn't help it with this one:

I've been a big UFO fan since my teen years. Even picked up the remixed Strangers in the Night CD last Christmas. Unbelieveable recording!

Never got to see them live but did catch Schenker with the MSG when they played a small club in Chicago back in the 80's. Fortunately they did play Lights Out.

Colt, that was cool thanks. One of my favorite bands, favorite guitar player and one of my favorite live recordings, "Strangers In The Night". Michael Schenker with his signature Flying V is one of the most influential guitar players in the world. Many a well known has got his name down on their list of influences. His brother Rudolf Schenker of the Scorpions is another one who kicks ass. MSG is on tour now and doing well from what I hear.

I really like UFO, and I think Shenker was at his best in these earlier years. Tug, if you're a Scorps fan, there is quite a bit of footage

of them at Wacken on youtube (I believe 2006). As guests they have Uli Roth and Michael. And speaking of the Scorpions, I really

like Matthias Jabs' playing as well - in my opinion a very underrated rock guitarist.

Don't know how to post vids but this one from the tube, UFO studio, Love to Love. Check this one out.

Just copy the "Embed' link from the you tube video page instead of the "URL". The use the "Insert Flash Video" button above. Place the embeded link inside the flash video tags and you are good to go. :o

Well, that was incredible in a number of ways (at least to me). If that was indeed one straight take - wow. Perhaps even more impressive is

Phil Mogg - his voice in fine form.

Wow.

Like a good aged cigar it seems to have acquired a nice rounded timber.

I have always loved this song. Albeit simple I have always enjoyed the bass line in this piece. It is not quite Heart of the Sunrise, but I like it none the less. -P
