thechenman Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Very nice. You are creating some truly interesting cigar related pieces of art. Keep up the great work.
zuma Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Very nice textured background effect, and superb seemingly-metallic copper tone on the Trini band... ...
samb Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Keep up the good work!! Maybe your next one could be a surreal painting of melted cutters?
Stalebread Posted November 18, 2009 Author Posted November 18, 2009 Keep up the good work!! Maybe your next one could be a surreal painting of melted cutters? Yes, then I could be your Dali-Bread. . . .
Ellery Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Whenever I see your artwork, Im always impressed at how nice your pieces come out. I've never really seen any other watercolor pieces, and honestly, I wasn't aware that they could come out as detailed as yours do. Great work man.
Don Candido Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I like that piece. I have one piece of art, which had to be mass produced, but is cool all the same. It is a Cohiba band with matting wrapped in tobacco leaves. I think it was from Tommy Bahama.

I've never really seen any other watercolor pieces, and honestly, I wasn't aware that they could come out as detailed as yours do. Great work man. Thanks. The piece above is all watercolor with India ink. But, in the interest of full disclosure, on other pieces, I use a lot of collaged stuff which might account for some of the detail. To me, it doesn't matter as long as the piece is interesting. Besides, and I would never admit this, but my drawing skills suck.
