And ah 1 , And ah 2 , andah,

Au Revoir, Ireland

Bonjour, South Africa :P

:D

Congratulations. It was a great match from this perspective. I thought Ireland played one of their best games in long time.

As for the winning goal, hand-balls happen, it did look like he guided it a bit though, not to mention two players were offside..

I can't see it doing Henry's reputation much good, that's not to say any other player wouldn't have done the same thing.

There'll be some interesting headlines tomorrow.

It's up on youtube already, a little jumpy but slows it down at the good bit..

Henry clearly handled the ball. Apologies to all the Irishmen

All kidding aside, I did see the slow motion and it does seem like

the ball was handled by Henry :bsmeter:

It kind of spoils the end of the game indeed. <_<

Well it doesn't matter now, it was a good game to watch.

Henry himself admitted it after the match but he was also right when he said the ref should have seen it. Again, what would an Irish player, or any other player, do in the same situation? Own up? :D

Anyway, where would the Irish be without bad luck and feeling hard done by, it's bread and butter to us. :)

The headlines I've seen this morning range from the funny to verging on xenophobic.

A couple of jokes just on the radio

"Thierry Henry’s hand ball was a foul even in volley ball"

The reason why Henry was chosen for Gillette ad “The first touch gets close, the 2nd, closer still“

Good luck for South Africa Guy! :)

nothing to say about football... but about the communication, i sincerely doubt it is genuine...

You're right, it was a hoax by an advertising company.

Still funnny though.

I thought the "Rue des Blaguer" in the french address, though mis-spelt, should have given it away. :)
