ironpeddler Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I couldn't stop laughing when I read this! She's "Extremely Upset". You can't make this sh*t up.... LINK
samb Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 F(k Britney, she wanted a 'Circus' now she can wade through the BS that she created. How can she be so upset? This 8itch shaved her head, now thats embarrassing. At least the fans there have enough sense to be pi$$ed off about her concert styling... Here in the US our little girls idolize her. Its a sad sad world we live.
thechenman Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 You know what? The sad truth of this isn't Britney Spears lip synching...the sad truth is that too many performers (not just pop princesses) are lip synching some if not the entirety of their concerts. The lady in the article is right about one thing...if fans are willing to shell out hundred of dollars to see their music idols lip synch on stage, their idols will continue to do so. However, if this is being done...disclaimers should be printed on the tickets...I think it is stupid to have ticket buyers have to look it up on line. Maybe we should do the same and remove tobacco warnings from boxes. I mean afterall, it is common knowledge now that there are significant health risks associated with tobacco use. Why does it need to be on the box if anyone can go online and find out for themselves. What utter ridiculousness.
SamuraiJack Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 God, she is so terrible. Her voice is plain horrific, and watching her dance makes me nauseous (wtf is up with her back/shoulders/neck when shes moves?!?!?). Aguilera I can deal with.
riderpride Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 What do these people expect? The other 6 billion people on this planet know she lip-synchs! In concert, the pressure is all on her to entertain (she has no 'band' or 'group') so she has to do all the running around and dancing to entertain; I'm sure people would complain more if she used her real vocals but had to take a knee while she huffs and puffs in the middle of a song due to exertion. IMHO, it seems poor 22 year-old Amanda has finally matured to the point where she's outgrown bubblegum pop.
Ellery Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Excuse me if I am out of line, but first of all, who is Britney Spears, and secondly, did you see the rack on the girl in that photo?
riderpride Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmvkRoEowc Sorry, but it's time to dust that one off...
jquest63 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 $1500 a ticket? Did that include home mortgage payment and drinks after the show?
First Lady Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 It is not about her lip syching it is the fact her concert is apparently just plain boring, I personally would not be wasting my hard earned money on her (can't stand her music) Reports from Perth is that people walked out saying they can't believe they paid money for the most boring concert... Not good for people waiting to go to her concert her in Brisbane
MIKA27 Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 It is not about her lip syching it is the fact her concert is apparently just plain boring, I personally would not be wasting my hard earned money on her (can't stand her music) Reports from Perth is that people walked out saying they can't believe they paid money for the most boring concert... Not good for people waiting to go to her concert her in Brisbane Whats most concerning is that these people attending her concert 'Are fans' and if a fan walks out and they are usually biased towards their idols, then that really sums up the sad truth of it all.
dicko Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 A few girls from uni went and said it was sh**house. By way of comparison Pink came to oz recently and wowed crowds/critics with her 'funhouse' circus themed tour. the fact she actually inged probably helped
OZCUBAN Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Whats most concerning is that these people attending her concert 'Are fans' and if a fan walks out and they are usually biased towards their idols, then that really sums up the sad truth of it all. Isn't that the truth I only spend my hard earned money on people with genuine "Talent",and the ability to sing. It seems to me that nowadays you don't need much talent to "Make it". What a role model Cheers Oz
thechenman Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I know I will probably be tarred an feathered for this, but my wife is a Britney Spears fan...has been for ages. Anyway, I took her to see her in concert on the Circus Tour at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Front row seats. To be honest...I thought i was a pretty decent show entertainment wise. Sure she did lip synch and it was evident. You can't dance around like she does and not be out of breath. However, the way I look at it is that Britney Spears is an entertainer, not a singer. If you accept the show for what it is, it really isn't that bad. As long as you can stomach the music of course.
ARRV Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmvkRoEowcSorry, but it's time to dust that one off... Was that serious? Looked like she was serious. Strange. Very strange!
Bill Hayes Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I couldn't stop laughing when I read this! She's "Extremely Upset". You can't make this sh*t up.... LINK One of my favourite lines from her concert review: There's a colloquial saying: you can't polish a ****, but you can roll it in sparkles. And on Friday night there were sparkles galore but in the end they couldn't disguise what we were witnessing.
