77stoneblues Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Had both an HQ Monte 4, and a locally bought Monte 4. The HQ was hands down the winner. So much richer, it was hard to believe! I'm looking forward to trying out this comparison for the last few sticks I bought locally.
dB69 Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Been wanting the Bolivar taste since I woke up early in the morning. Now I'm smoking a Bonita -97, wonderful!

All Charcoal. Don't feel bad about pitching it at all. Monte4 is much better. Cigar of the day was the Illusione. Very satisfying.

DblToro Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Saturday, LGC Md'or 3 PT Short Oliva G special Punch Pdpc . Sunday CoRo 09 finally settled from its journey, what a difference. Will revisit again soon. Punch Pdpc.
Stalebread Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 An Illusione lancero with almost three years of age. Draw a little too easy. Lots of smoke. Even burn. Tons of flavor with the strength increasing gradually. But I suspect that more age will not benfit these.
DblToro Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Smoking a Trini Reyes AGR NOV 10. I am really starting to appreciate this smoke more each time I smoke one. Will need to explore the marquee and graduate to the bigger in the line soon. Great evening cigar or morning. Very mellow flavor, with plenty of strength. Any recommendations welcome, thanks.
