2013 RASS here in Qatar today. Not so much stewed fruit flavours I enjoy with these usually, more coffee notes and a touch of spice, was ok, nothing more. Paired with a glass of water, this week is "dry week" here, superb timing by me (not)!

A very nice Punch Super Robusto 07 RE. A little firm on the draw but still able to get a good volume of smoke. Very nice mild spice, wood and earthy notes and a nice subtle fruitiness to it too.

Smoking a Juan Lopez No. 2 (at least I think that's what it is). I'm about halfway into the first third as I write this. Getting some lovely oak with baking spices (nutmeg/cinnamon) and just a hint of cocoa. It's started out wonderfully!

Punch punch AUM Abr14 ROTT. First five minutes were great so I was looking forward to a nice afternoon, then it started to rain and burn issues quickly followed. Now we desperately need the rain here in California but 10 minutes earlier and I could have saved that punch for the evening.
