Popular Post JohnS Posted September 12, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 12, 2015 Cigars I've had lately... Por Larranaga Petit Corona (thanks Jason!) - I think the band shows that this is an aged PLPC, probably from prior to 2007. It had a 'toothy' wrapper and was possibly the most viscous cigar I've ever had, the volume of smoke from each draw was incredible! Of course, caramel in spades! 2007 Por Larranaga Edición Regional Asia Pacifico Robustos (thanks Fuzz!) - I enjoyed this at a friend's get together for the birth of his daughter. Another sweet wonder! 2009 Partagas Serie D No.4 - Although I had to re-light this a few times, it still had that distinctive toasted tobacco and pepper profile, with again, plenty of volume of smoke per draw. La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No.4 (thanks Steve!) - My third gifted cigar that I've smoked lately and this was full of that fruity spice which I know we all enjoy from time to time! Cohiba Robusto Supremo EL 2014 - What can I say...yes, it's expensive but it is good. I enjoyed this on Father's Day, a lovely 90 to 100 minute cigar. It had the Cohiba grass/hay, with elements of honey/vanilla and cream, but with a slight spicy tang. As the wrapper was oily, I feel I need to rest this cigar for quite awhile and see how it develops. I still enjoyed smoking it young. 10
Bennettjohnl Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Packed my end table too full and was rewarded with high humidity while it dealt with the increased ambient temperature this week. Gonna have to give that humi a week long break and smoke my NCs from the other humidor.? 3

Popular Post phlee Posted September 12, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 12, 2015 Hoyo EE to start the day 6
alpyigit Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Since my recent receipts of super dark wrapper JL2s and Dippy2s, I feel I neglect my EL stuff, so here goes a Hoyo Regalos.. Nice typical EL profile, a sample showing that aging ELs is a diminishing return (time) investment. After 3 years, aging benefit (geometrically) goes down. Do I like it? Yes. Would it worth to pay a premium over, let's say, Partagas C3, probably not. (I did pay btw) . Both cigars really taste very similar in my opinion. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 4
Popular Post rmill3r Posted September 12, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 12, 2015 The last of my Siglo I. It's a sad but beautiful day. Each one of these has been better than the last. What's next? Siglo ii or Siglo iv? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk 5
