ralphie48 Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Unfortunately the Cohiba lanceros I posted earlier had major construction issues. Tried everything . Had to toss it in the first third. Life is too short to work that hard to smoke a cigar while enjoying the night. Oh well it's the first of 9 or 10 I smoked out of the box so far that has any flaws. All others have been outstanding to say the least Took a few hour break after that bad experience now lighting a siglo vi 4
Popular Post planetary Posted September 9, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 9, 2015 Montecristo Petite Edmundo from a PSP box courtesy of our host. Enjoyed on a hot summer night here in Northern California out on the deck with crickets chirping and the deer coming into the yard to nibble on the plants. Delightful! 6
Popular Post MattW Posted September 9, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 9, 2015 Enjoyed a Punch Sir John (127mm x 48RG) this afternoon, the Regional Edition 2012 for Germany. I picked up two singles when I visited Berlin back in January 2013 and I finally dug one out of the humi to try. Overall construction was good with a bit of a sheen to the wrapper. The draw was almost perfect, just a tad too tight, but not an issue. The burn was ok but went a bit wonky on a couple of occasions and did require a few adjustments. Started off a touch under medium bodied but pretty much became full bodied by the final third, was fairly strong as well. Was primarily quite earthy with a general sweet woody flavour, there was also a bit of underlying spiciness. Overall a very good cigar.... tempted to track down a box now! 7

Orion21 Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 A great after dinner treat. Huge amount of smoke. A little drier that the last few, but great RA flavored. For the price they are worth a few more boxes. 3
Bennettjohnl Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Smoking more NCs to make room for incoming CCs and let my recently arrived CCs rest 2
Upgrayedd Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Bolivar Petit Corona. Today has been very hot and humid, with temperatures near 100F (37C) and humidity from the 30s to 80s. I think this made for an interesting smoking experience. This stick had a tough draw until the halfway point, and between the crazy humidity changes and a lack of finesse in massaging the plugged spot the wrapper tried to explode on me a bit, as pictured, but I was able to control it with the band. Aside from the technical difficulties this was the tastiest BPC I've had yet (I've only had about half a box so far). More pronounced cocoa and more dark hints of sweetness than usual. Yum. Paired with Rebel Yell bourbon and Cazadores anejo tequila. 2
Popular Post Scrubber Posted September 10, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 10, 2015 PSD4 and a glenlivet. Wrapper is kind of cracked at the head and a loose draw but flavours are still good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 5
Souperchi Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Had my 1st Hdm E #1 the other night, was nice, super light bodied though. Which is should be yes?
