Boosted Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Sweet! Does this seem similar to the non plus or Belicoso? I hid mine from myself. I've never the Non Plus or Belicoso. I've only had a couple Sanchos and Corona Gigantes, buy that was probably around 2009/10. To me, this is salty, with wood, leather, earth, and a little cream.

Colt45 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Vegas Robaina Clásico LPM ABR08 - Deep and dark. Dark roasted coffee / chocolate, light overlay of cream, tinge of dark cherry. High quality tobacco.

I can't recall that I've ever had any Sancho Panza before but if this is what they're like I'll be looking for some! I may see if Rob could hook me up with a sampler. I completely agree with Boosted's flavor description.

phlee Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Hoyo petit robusto with a breakfast coffee. Has some spicy notes to it Has this strange wrapper split. Not the first time I've seen it. Can anyone pls let me know what's the cause? Or just poor construction?

Popular Post Puros Y Vino Posted September 8, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2015 Had this beauty up north on Sunday. Major Tasting notes. Very floral opening with a touch of baking spice. Smooth cedar flavours throughout. Once in while a "sharp" cedar/cinnamon flavour. Similar to biting into a cinnamon stick. Of for those of you that ever chewed on cinnamon toothpicks as a kid. That flavor. Hints of stewed fruit and Christmas cake. IMO a Ramon Allones flavour profile staple. 8
Popular Post Souperchi Posted September 8, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2015 Finally had a chance to sit down and try out a JL2 from a recent trade with a botl. Thanks Bill it was great! Had a nice wheat beer from the east coast as well. 6

Popular Post billh1 Posted September 8, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2015 We've got painters at the house today so I ran home for lunch to check on their progress and thought I'd work in a short smoke... BMS SEP 14 HU Half Corona. I've smoked several out of this box and I'm just not getting it...they look ok, smell ok, don't seem to be under filled and have been resting for about 6 months but still just not in my wheelhouse. Oh well, trade them to someone that likes them or move them to the back of the bus...It's not like I don't have other cigars to smoke! Cheers! Bill 5
Popular Post suggs Posted September 8, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2015 Smoking my first Epicure No. 1. The cigar is from 2014 and, while it's still tasting fairly young, it definitely manages to have a more subtle profile that I associate with age. It's delicate in the same way as freshly-baked macaroons are! Very lovely! 5
