My first San Juan and I loved it. Plenty of cedar notes on this one. Very different animal from the Hoyo 2 I had last week. For a young cigar I thought it was very nice, but I can certainly understand when people suggest laying these down for a few years to get even more out of them. BEFORE AFTER Of course now she wants me to do the end tables also...Maybe next weekend honey, time for that cigar! Tonight I'm having a RA Superiores MUR MAR 13 with a snifter of spiced rum and a Not Your Fathers Root Beer... This is my second box of these and this particular cigar is a little under filled making it a bit of a wind tunnel! I'm trying to draw easy so I don't heat it up and destroy the flavors that I know it can deliver but...although it wasn't unpleasant it didn't show the stewed fruit sweetness I've come to expect from this cigar. No worries! I have 3 of the 2013s left and two boxes of ULA SEP 14s taking a long nap. Perhaps the next one will return to form. Congrats to Jason Day on winning the PGA Championship! Cheers! Bill 7

GasGuy82 Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 First ever RASCC courtesy of a trade with Boosted. First third left me wondering if these need more time. More mongrel than even my Party shorts, In your face pepper and spice. Second third is mellowing out quite nicely, stewed fruit flavor and a flavor I can't quite put my finger on by somewhat reminds me of something I often find in H Upmanns. So far quite pleased. Think a little more time will smooth out that first third and deliver a spectacular 45 minute smoke. 3

What a joy to smoke, delicious Second was a La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'or no.2 - date unknown although staff said early 2000's. Certainly looked aged and not a freshie Final stick for the night - a young hand picked D4. Too young and harsh, both my cousin and I pitched after 2/3rds and even that was a generous attempt at smoking 11
