FOH'ers Daily Smoke

Not from today, but I thought you might like to see some recent smokes I had. I was in Colorado last week with my family and had a few good smokes. An H. Upmann Half Corona out on the boat (I lost a cutter, 2 lighters, and 2 non-cubans when I was fixing the burn on a different cigar when a big wake knocked my open travel humidor into the water).

The next day I had this beauty. A 2007 QdO Corona.

Just a bit before smoking, we were able to go watch an elk in the front of the yard.

This was my view while smoking.

This was my cigar last night. A BBF with a glass of Zaya.

Now to figure out what to have tonight.

I had a RASS from a 50 cab ULA MAY 14 dry boxing for tonight and low and behold PSP/HQ mix RASS pops up on tonight 24:24. Three guesses what I did and the first two don't count...Yes, yes I did! I fired off an email and WAPOW! I got a box. Lucky me! Without further ado here's tonight's cigar porn for your viewing enjoyment...

Just finished a beautiful PLPC with fresh roast coffee. Can't remember the boxcode but it was from spring 2013.

Is there a better morning cigar with coffee? I think not!

I may have to consider changing my mind. The only Upmanns I really like are the Winston, No 2, and PC. This one has me reconsidering. Very nice.

Finally had a chance to try the PLPC I picked up in a sampler. A little hint of sweetness and tons of smoke!!! Will buy these in the future . Sorry for the blurry pics, it kept focusing on my dog!

Sitting at my favorite cigar friendly watering hole, having a JL No. 1 from my new brother Travis and a double Zacapa on a single huge ice cube, reflecting on the day...Third Eye Blind, How's It Going To Be is playing in the background and there's a nice breeze blowing across the back porch...I feel blessed beyond measure...GOD is good!

Tomorrow I have a 7:25 AM flight to Philidelphia to catch a MLB game between the Phillies and the Dodgers and then off to dinner with some business associates...yeah I know, must be tough eh. Friday and Saturday are the payback though as I'll be in business meetings all day Friday before hoping a flight home to take my family to a concert that night at 7:30 PM. Saturday it's a 2 1/2 hour drive at 6:00 AM to the Kentucky Special Olympics Regional Softball Tournament for a day long double elimination event to try and get my team qualified for the State Tournament...WHEW! Sunday will be a well deserved day of rest with multiple cigars if the weather cooperates. Enough of my dribble, on to the pictures...

Very enjoyable stick...typical JL flavor profile of old leather, rich tobacco and just a hint of nougat now and

again. Curious how these would be with 5 years age...of course that would mean I'd have to exercise some discipline and leave them alone that long...Nah, smoke em, enjoy em and buy more when they're gone!

Not sure yet what this is. Corona I'm smoking blind for Cigarsense. Already an hour in.

Very rich and oily, complex with earth, leather, fruit, brown sugar and pastry. Expect it's NC but can't be certain. Very dark oily wrapper, I do have some RyJ PC this color though....

PS: Turns out a La Palina Mr. Sam - not a bad smoke, not at all.

ROTT. First one I've ever had. Overall a good cigar. Do I think HSA over-priced them? Yes. I'd take a dress box of Lusi or two boxes of the Partagas Salamones instead. Maybe letting them rest a few months may change my mind.
