Wow, that is a lot of driving! Good to see you made it back safe and sound and found a very nice way to reward yourself

I smoke a lot of C&Cs while I drive, makes it almost not seem like work, sometimes.. By the way, I have since changed to home made root Beer, @ 5% ABV, and it is a better pairing, than Guinness, during the last third.

An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Yesterday, a 2011 Siglo VI tubo. Pretty nice experience - progression of good flavors tied together with that buttery, beany core. A bit big of a RG for me at 52. Didnt have that tight draw I like at the end.

Today a wonderful 2009 Fonseca no 1 - my first of this marca. Began with an explosion of citrusy cream. First 1/3 was this creamy note over a sweet, floral, woody base. An honest taste of barrel-aged whiskey announced the 2/3 mark, which was creamy and somewhat sweet; the finish was the woody, foresty, sometimes mushroomy finish of a good Punch. The last 1/3 started like a whole other cigar! Intensely sweet milk coffee - almost like a Montecristo. Ended on a note of plain, quality toasted tobacco. A shame these are being discontinued...

Picked up this Esplendido at the Toronto Megaherf in an auction last year. Remember being told the details of this special release but don't remember them. In any case it was awesome; not like the normal Siglo line I enjoy as it was more creamy with some sweetness on the finish. I know it has some age but maybe someone else may no more details on this one.

Ramón Allones superiores (ula oct 14)

I´m amazed. Absolutely lovely smoke. Yes, it has edges but no harness at all. Actually loved the darker notes coming from its youth. Made it well balanced with the fruity core.

Will be hard to keep my hands off. Do I really want to? tongue.png

Though it has legs. lots of. Only has two boxes. Will go through one of them soon for sure.
