LLC
Sorry, I am no expert, but that doesn't look like a real EL band. Opened another box I got in Havana when they first came out to compare and it looks the same. The only thing in my picture is the Cohiba band is covering the top black portion of the EL band.
Popular Post torsion
Now smoking a Sancho Panza 1998 Molinos bought in the Dunhill shop 1a St.James back in May when I was on a trip back to Blighty. Oldest stick I've ever smoked, super smooth and leathery at the moment. Had a bottle of Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill Champagnes 2000 with my wife with dinner tonight which I've had for a year chilling in the fridge as a wedding gift from my team at work. Been wanting to find a reason to have both - every day should be lived as a special occasion. Good evening BOTL/SOTL

Popular Post JohnS
San Cristobal de La Habana El Principe EML FEB 15 Montecristo No. 4 MAE OCT 14 Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de San Juan 14 (Rested for 5 or 6 months...simply glorious! Hints of honey, vanilla and cream, and this will only get better with long-term aging!) Partagas Serie D No.4 08 (Gifted by Steve...this was the highlight of my weekend. You can see below how it ended up! Simply fantastic, nuanced flavours of mild spice and pepper with beautiful volumes of smoke per puff. Thanks my friend, this is what the joys of cigar smoking is all about!)
teamrandr
This was a disappointment.... Draw was poor so didnt get to enjoy the flavors much. I need to make up for it with something solid today. '07 Vegas Robaina Maestro

Popular Post Mr.T
Been a loooong time since I have had the pleasure of a morning smoke. And it was well worth the wait. Courtesy of our host as was the great VR last night. Wonderful notes of roasted nuts, mild spice and pepper and coffee Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Popular Post rmill3r
Seems like the only time I have for a cigar anymore are weekend mornings and siglo 1s are perfect with a cafe con leche Running low though Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
mk05
Heroin....because that's probably the only thing that would have made this experience enjoyable. One side ran while the other was flame retardant. To me, I've always been underwhelmed with this cigar, to be honest, with Cohiba in general. I feel they fail to deliver at their premium. The only ones I enjoy are the Robustos. Needless to say, I will never buy a box of the Esplendidos. I feel there are plenty of other cigars that deliver and do so at a lower cost. Disappointed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk When you don't buy cigars based on taste, but haphazardly on determinants such as looks, you will continue to have these experiences. Consuming is an exercise based on taste, not other factors. Sure, fluff will get you off for a while, but at the end of the day...you're the one who has to enjoy (smoke, drink, wear, eat, etc) them all. Or maybe you want to show off a wardrobe full of runway couture that no one can wear.

I actually enjoy those. I'll take the BCG any day over the Espy.
Popular Post LLC
Recorded the F1 race and watched it with a OSU JUN 02 LGC M D'or 4. One of the best races to go with one of the best cigars I've had in a long time.

eswary
'13 P2. Spice was the only note for the first third. Smooth cream slowly came along. Smooth but still very young. At what age point do most experience the spice to drop and cream increased with these? Need some time to marinate IMO...
