Boosted Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Another night, another bland, disappointing Monte Edmundo. Every time I light one up I keep expecting it to be different. Definition of insanity I guess. Thankfully these are nearly gone. I can attest to how disappointing those are too. I really wanted to like the one you gave me. The cigar looked amazing and construction was wonderful. Cigar was just bad though.
fabes Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 RA Gigantes from a '14 box with some Cherrywood Rye from a local distiller. Great cigar. Final third get a bit rough, but the first two thirds were outstanding. 1

billh1 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Man, did anticipation ever get the best of me tonight! I had a Behike 52 in the que for this evening and it was on my mind all...day...long. It was raining cats and dogs tonight and the humidity was higher than normal but I was bound and determined to smoke that Behike! ****! Totally underwhelmed...what a bummer! Oh well, patience is rewarded and bone head decisions ruin perfectly good cigars. Here's the pictures anyway and I must say it is a beautiful stick... Cheers! Bill 4
sengjc Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 An old Arturo Fuente Hemingway Signature with around 5 years of age. Uber smooth and mellow, very fine and tasty. 2
FHFinster Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I can attest to how disappointing those are too. I really wanted to like the one you gave me. The cigar looked amazing and construction was wonderful. Cigar was just bad though. I've had the same experience unfortunately. It looks like such a tastey treat when in fact it's like smoking a stale piece of celery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
johndalton44 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 JL Chiado 1864 from yesterday. Enjoyed the enhanced cream and floral notes I tasted in comparison to JL 1s or 2s. 4

Some of my favorite cigars have been smoked in very humid environments. I would imagine it was the cigar and not you. 1
