Popular Post manny816 Posted May 19, 2015 Popular Post Posted May 19, 2015 It has been a very long time since I visited FOH. Things are starting to get better and I hope to visit more often. Currently enjoying a Punch Royal Selection 11 with almost 10 years of age on it. The bright side of bad times are that at least I have a collection with some decent age on it. 8
nick2021 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Partagas Petit Coronas Especiale. Lovely Partagas profile on this one. Holds ash really well too. agree with you on this, plowing through a box right now lol 1

Orion21 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 2008 Upmann Mag 50 after lunch. Sweet cream and wood. Very smooth, yet almost too mellow. Will see if it comes alive after the first third. 4
eswary Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 RACC 2014. Sampling one from a fresh box. Amazing how well these are smoking right now. Should be solid next yr and anytime after that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4
Popular Post Habana Mike Posted May 20, 2015 Popular Post Posted May 20, 2015 Cracked in to my last cab of RoboTs tonight with a niche Rum I picked up in Grand Cayman over the weekend. The rum's distilled from locally sourced cane and then aged at 7 fathoms for 3 years in Bourbon casks before bottling. Toured the distillery and it was a hoot. The blender was our guide and was obvious he'd been sampling all day! Both were excellent 8
dflan82 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 2013 CORO...good but young, underdeveloped flavors. Excellent construction 4
sengjc Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Pardon 1926 No. 6 Maduro. Having some Starward Wine Cask Edition 1 with this. Spicy little smoke with a profile that is so intense that it does overwhelm the drink in this instance. 3
Popular Post manny816 Posted May 20, 2015 Popular Post Posted May 20, 2015 Had SLR A last night with about 9 years age on it. I completely enjoyed it, much more than the Punch RS 11 with similar age. I found the Punch to be somewhat flat where the SLR A was complex with flavors of licorice, chocolate, honey and cedar. The licorice was not overwhelming and left me with a sweet taste which I enjoyed. 6
Stogieninja Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 I've only smoked a few QdO's but they've impressed each time. This one was rich with caramel sweetness. Delicious! 4
Orion21 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 No pictures, but I finished last night with: MUR JUN Siglo VI that disappoiinted Bolivar Canadian RE B2 that was divine.
matyoka Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Wednesday smoke was PL Encantos. Was a good stick, but not as good as the Epicure Especial from Sunday... 4
sengjc Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Por Larranaga Petit Coronas. Rather tight on the draw but manageable if I continually pinch-roll the head. Having some Mortlach Special Strength with this so its all good. 4
bacalao Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 One smoke before work and one after . One of those days$1.77lb briskets at work "Your killing me Smalls" 1
Habana Mike Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Smoked a horrid Esplendido today as part of the Cigar Sense blind tastings we do. Dry, tannic, sour and bitter. Fairly devoid of flavors, milder side of medium, very few redeeming qualities. Hay and mineral were about all I was getting from it. Poorly constructed, the foot was soft and the center knotted. Tough draw which tended to overheat the cigar despite a slow pace. Really gave it the best chance possible, very disappointing. Perhaps I should put it up for the Rancid Review 2
