TheMunt Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 A nice cold beer and a (non cuban for a change of pace) cigar as i sit and reflect on the fact that 100 years ago our forefathers were literally hours away from landing at gallipoli. What hellish nightmares they suffered in those trenches so we would have exactly the kind of freedoms i'm enjoying right now. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
UpInSmoak Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I was hoping the stars were aligned.... Friday afternoon Cold beer One of my favorite cigars It's incredible how a poor constructed cigar can ruin things. The draw was near perfect. However the roll was terrible. Only one side wanted to burn. Too many touch ups to count, and the uneven burn ruined an otherwise perfect afternoon 4

fabes Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 2013 RASCC firing on all cylinders. Complementing the Glenrothes 2001 I'm sipping nicely. 3
torsion Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Just came back from Cigar Inn in NYC, not been there in probably a year. Smoked a Tatuaje Especiales Brown label to start which lasted 2+ hours, not bad but I was seeking more complexity. Cost about $12. Followed by this Davidoff Sir Winston robusto. Was seeking what to smoke and thought to try it as its a new release. Top construction as to be expected, cost $18. Reminded me of the Nicaraguan blend somehow, excellent draw but man CC are definitely my preference. Enjoyed trying these non-CC 1
Lotusguy Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Parti Shorts from the box pass. I should just stop trying - Partagas just doesn't suit my palate. 2

meatball41 Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 MC 2, spongy with loose draw, oddly it was a battle to keep it lit. flavors were good. 1
alpyigit Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Sampling younger boxes this weekend. Verdict is both needs some considerable rest. So all the boxes of these will go to the aging tupperdors.. Surprisingly, Partagas lacked the typical EL bite, a rather smoother taste. 3
Popular Post Madcox Posted April 25, 2015 Popular Post Posted April 25, 2015 Last nights smoke from '11. Fantastic Flavors 6
Popular Post johndalton44 Posted April 25, 2015 Popular Post Posted April 25, 2015 Picadores from Thursday afternoon. I cant keep my hands off these. Punch Punch with one of the biggest dimples I've seen. Construction was flawless. Nat Sherman Joel Sherman 75th Celebration. I don't usually say NCs are cuban-esque, but damn this was a great smoke. Montecristo No. 2 from '00. These have all smoked like a dream. Such beautiful, delicate wrappers. 8
