An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

2010 RyJ PC. Great cigar, best explained as sweet meets spicy meets herbal. Solid transitions, construction, and burn. The rest has done this little beauty justice.

No pics but another Fantabulicious Sir Winston paired with a few (3-4 , I lost count) Great Basin "Icky" IPA's! All I can say is WOW............1hr and 45 minutes of pure pleasure! I was hoping it would never end.

My first HQ H. Upmann Petit Corona with only 22 days rest on it............giant flavor from a small cigar, probably my #1 Petit.

Started with a Sancho Panza Escudero ARA JUN 11, but it was pretty bland. Thought by now this box would have developed into something. Ditched it for an HdM Du Prince ALT ENE 13, an HQ box from the czar.

Had my first 1966, wasn't the most ideal spot to smoke, couldn't wait to smoke.. Thanks to a botl! Great cigar, but I think my expectations were too high..

Been curious about Cognac. Thot I'd give it a trial run tonight. Paired with a Monte 1 from '08.

Hunt around your liquor shops and see if you can find yourself some Armagnac. I believe it is the region next-door to Cognac. Different distillation process and, somehow, much better flavors for about half the cost. I have been loving DeLord's Napoleon for about $40 a bottle. Marie Duffau also makes some good Armagnac that's great to acquaint you with the flavor profile of burnt wine.

Thanks for the tip! I'll look for it. What is its flavor profile? I found the Remy Martin to be fruity and dry. With a lil oaky spice and a touch of sweetness.
