sengjc Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Padron 1926 Series No. 2 Maduro with ample age (about 3-4 years since I purchased it). Having a big can of Suntory the Premium Malts with this. Age certainly has mellowed this spicy blend making it suave and well integrated. Very complex and nuancey. 2

I was just looking through my Padron...in a humidor in a fridge...I always seem to go for something else ..good to see it was a nice smoke ..might have to fire one up 1
mgravito Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Past couple of days: BBF LOE OCT13. Excellent. Strangely the sharpness from youth is sort of enjoyable. Punch Punch BAM MAR13. Pretty good. Burning my way through this box as I'm coming to grips with the fact that I just don't love punch. HU Mag50 BUM JUN14. Youngin, but boy are these good ROTT. 3
Hiram2011 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Had a RyJ ex 4 first, which wasn't to my liking. Now on to a VR Famosos, which I always like. 2

earthson Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 DPG Blue Lancero. Garbage! Tasteless and flat. I guess either my palate has moved on or the tobacco just isn't what it was when they first hit the scene.
ShortFatHokie Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Enjoyed a fantastic Boli PC on a beautiful afternoon in the mountains. Really needed that...been a tough few days as my mother's oldest sister passed away and was laid to rest yesterday. 1
Bartolomeo Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 10 ERDM Choix.....very good for a young cigar 13 POU RyJ #4 courtesy of @surpriseMVP.....loads of cherries! 2

topdiesel Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I was just looking through my Padron...in a humidor in a fridge...I always seem to go for something else ..good to see it was a nice smoke ..might have to fire one up these posts inspired me to smoke one (padron 1926 maduro) with a few years on it as well and I was pleasantly surprised. First non Cuban I have smoked in a year or so that was this enjoyable. It was really sweet and as stated earlier the spice, although still there, was much more balanced than a fresh one. Thanks for the inspiration.
Heath Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 What did you think of it? Sent by telepathic super powers -Stogie Boy not as good as the jl #2 I wasn't impressed. I won't be buying a box anytime soon 1

riazp Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Smoking a Romeo no 2 tubos. Nothing fancy tonight! 1
Surucipe Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 ABR 13 HUHC. Tasty little winter smoke. It will be hard to age some of these, burning through the box very quickly.
cdfarrar Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Monsdale on a warm(69f) Sunday afternoon -outstanding smoke 2
Lotusguy Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Very nice Upmann Monarcas a/t BD 2007 yesterday. Now a OR RG Perlas - first one of these that actually didn't make me want to immediately throw away the 2 remaining boxes that I have. Still doesn't mean they are good - just not God-awful. 1

Sorry to hear that, I really like the profile on those (when they are smokable of course) 1
