1998 Punch Monarca

If it was anything like 98 stash, it would have been brilliant.

Epic combo !!!

An El Floridita! It looks like you went heavy with the Angostura Bitters and used white rum?

Na, it's an "Old Fashioned" variant I particularly like...

Ron Varadeos Anejo 15 year old Cuban rum with a hint of Maraschino cherry juice, as well as bitters

Didn't make it very far on the RA. Not impressed?

The head was over filled and I was tired of massaging it to get smoke. That's all

Had a bit of a warm up this past weekend so I enjoyed a Joya Red (Highly rated N/C) and then chased it with a Bolivar RC from JUL 14. Even with such little age on the Bolivar, it was far and away a superior cigar to the Joya (and I actually enjoyed the Joya very much). Just goes to show that it is tough to beat good Cuban tobacco.

Tough? In my world, it's impossible to beat cuban tobacco - it's the best in the world! My favorite NC can only match the experience, and then just barely. Welcome to the rabbit hole!
