Guest rob Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 1998 Punch Monarca If it was anything like 98 stash, it would have been brilliant.
JohnS Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Cuban Old Fashioned cocktail with Trinidad Robustos Extra 2010 Epic combo !!! An El Floridita! It looks like you went heavy with the Angostura Bitters and used white rum? 1

fabes Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Didn't make it very far on the RA. Not impressed?
Carts Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Didn't make it very far on the RA. Not impressed? The head was over filled and I was tired of massaging it to get smoke. That's all
rodrigodeanda Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Yesterday I had a VR Famosos Ago-13. I really like that vitola, I remember the first one I smoked had me really impressed, always looking forward for the next!
johndalton44 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Partagas de Luxe from 2000. Looks great on he outside for a machine roll. The varying draw from puff to puff made the inside less enjoyable but still nice. 1
sengjc Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Bolivar Corona Gigantes, either 2012 or 2013. Still young but you can sense the potential that lies dormant within. Some Glenfiddich 125th Anniversary to smooth out some of the raw edges. 2

dflan82 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Had a bit of a warm up this past weekend so I enjoyed a Joya Red (Highly rated N/C) and then chased it with a Bolivar RC from JUL 14. Even with such little age on the Bolivar, it was far and away a superior cigar to the Joya (and I actually enjoyed the Joya very much). Just goes to show that it is tough to beat good Cuban tobacco.
alpyigit Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 hoyo double epicure. Got this single stick a few months ago. Liked it so much so I will hunt for a box. A joyful two hours.. 1

Tough? In my world, it's impossible to beat cuban tobacco - it's the best in the world! My favorite NC can only match the experience, and then just barely. Welcome to the rabbit hole!
