Only photo I could manage this week was of tonight's royal corona.

Nice white ash, nice white smoke and great boli flavours.

2014 Johnny O World Famous robusto. These were really good fresh and after a year they have mellowed. They are smooth, creamy, and the flavors are great! Cocoa, toasted nuts, toffee, and light salt on the finish.

Picked one of these up in Montreal a while back and decided to give it a try today. Enjoyable but not great. Maybe needs more time because there are flashes of brilliance at times.

2013 LGC #2 ....about as skinny as I will smoke, great flavors for a fairly young cigar, seems to have the correct bones to be a superstar in years to come, enjoyed this

I'm not a rum guy, but that is some of the worst rum out there, IMO. Makes Captain Morgan taste like Barbancourt

Been feeling a bit under the weather and haven't had a cigar in a few weeks...well, that and the fact that the weather hasn't been cooperating too much. However, today was a different story. Beautiful day, sunny with the temps in the upper 40sF.

Knowing that this was going to be a good day, weather-wise, I planned on smoking the H Upmann Mag 50 that was in the Mrs. Claus sampler from December. This was my first Mag 50 and after reading and hearing so many great things about this cigar on FOH for the last year or so, I was anticipating a good smoke. I wasn't disappointed.

The cigar had a perfect pre-light draw. Fired it up an was immediately smacked with creamy coffee which ran the entirety of the cigar. It was medium to slightly above medium in strength with notes of wood, stone fruit, and leather intertwined with the creamy coffee. I had to remove both bands as I smoked it to a nub.

Felt so good after such a fantastic cigar, I took the dog for a three mile walk. Looking forward to the box of 10 I have aging in my coolidor.

Psd4 in which I found a 1.5 inch strand of brown hair in the head after I cut the cap.

Ask me if I smoked it.

Hellsmothaeffingyea I smoked it. And it was tasy.

I concur - vile stuff.

I can't vouch for the rum, but the cigar is fast becoming one my favourite 'go to' smokes.
