An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

RA Extra, first one in over a year and these really seem to have come around. Nice complex flavors in the 1st and 2nd third, still some untamed brutality in the last third.

A Davidoff Limited from 2008, and a 2004 Partagas Salomones both gifts from friends. These were two wonderful sticks.

Sneaking a QdO in the basement with the windows open, fans blowing, and space heaters on. I'll still get caught but this is my first cigar in 3 weeks.

Another nice late fall day, but with snow in the forecast for later this week, I was craving to try something different. So, I fired up an HdM Le Hoyo Des Dieux. This was the second one from a box I received back in the summer. I tried one about a week of the truck but it had a bit of a tight draw, was a bit mongrel, and turned so bitter in the last third, I was forced to ditch it early. However, I can honestly say, four months in the coolidor has done wonders for this cigar!

The draw was perfect. Medium to slightly above in strength, the flavors ranged from woody to a touch of cream to hints of tea and notes of sweetness. Smoked this one past the band. Time is a magician, so glad I have 23 more of these sticks to look forward to!

Pics always seem to post sideways from my cell. SigloV first one ever. Pleasantly surprised. Lovely medium smoke. Great draw and construction.

That band isn't just off, it's not right. Good catch, cojones.

First dud out of 15 PSD4's from the SMO Mar 12 stash. Pitched after one half.

Went to a Series P2. No redemption from Partagas here. Lighter in body and really looking in flavor.

Did not want a strike three so I cut my losses and went inside.

Sig II. No need to worry about the band, this stick is from a seconds sampler from FOH.

Edit: Just getting back into cigars this year so I've been trying to keep my good sticks in my large / storage humidor. Accordingly have just been smoking the cheap ones from my desktop. Currently contemplating this as this is so refined and enjoyable.

Life's too short etc....

OneLove siglo 2's are nice when you find a good one, try a Rafael Gonzalez Petite Corona or a Bolivar Petite Corona or for a cheap end stick try the HUpmann Coronas Major that comes in a tube.

What did you think of this? I've only had a few but they were spectacular.

Prob one of the best build up on strength and flavor over the course of a cigar I've had. I thought it was great
