Tried a Vegueros Mananitas today. There was an underlying Scotch Finger biscuit taste but unfortunately was over powered by a harshness. I think with 2 years of age on them they would be wonderful smokes. I'll be keeping my eyes out for a tin that's for sure. The specimen I had was a good quality stick but I remember looking through about 6 cigars from the tin before I got one I was pleased with, so maybe finding a good tin will be difficult but we'll see.

It's been an excellent and beautiful weekend for cigars....

PLPC with a cafe con leche. This one isn't the oldest PLPC I've had but it's still got that sweet caramel flavor and was much more complex than I thought it would be.

Quai d'Orsay Corona with a cuban coffee. This was my very first anything from Qd'O and it was generously given to me by a great botl here, "DWC." Oh my...what a beautiful cigar. I heard good things, but I was not expecting the complex and beautiful flavors that came out of it along with a wonderful white ash. This was pure joy. Thank you for letting me try this!
