torsion Posted December 12, 2014 Share Posted December 12, 2014 Sorry no pics for last nights smoke. So I revisted the mighty RASS after my work Xmas party - box code RAE MAY14. These have been sitting in the humi now since 14th Oct when I received the box and it's the 2nd stick smoked from it. WOW - I can see what all the fuss is about now!! It was either a combination of the food and drink I had consumed which had fired up my palate plus the additional resting time in the humi, or perhaps just the additional rest but this stick seemed alot tastier than the first one I tried a few weeks ago. I normally find it takes me about the 1st third to start appreciating most sticks but the flavours in this one developed much earlier after a few puffs. Simply delicious, medium to full body, the smoke was creamy, I tasted slight spice, hints of leather and chocolatey goodness throughout, could of even have been some stone fruit. I love the after taste which lingers on the palate!! The 4th ever RASS I've had and no doubt my best experience of this marca/vitola so far. I have read good things about this stick and up till last night had not had the same thoughts with the 3 I had already smoked. Glad I bought the box, I can only see further improvement with longer resting. What a great stick at a great price. Also a learning curve, to keep giving sticks a chance/try. **EDIT** I should add, I was at my usual spot outside in the park and whilst it was damn cold I did't want the stick to end! 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Alternated between pepper and citrusy fruit for half, and then exploded into cream, fruits (cherry and strawberry), kitchen spices.
