Lotusguy Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I am indeed a glutton for punishment. Another Vegueros Entriempos. Nobody can say that I didn't give these a fair shot A wrapper that looks like a Quintero reject and didn't like to burn right. Huge smoke volume. Metallic aftertaste. Slightly better than the Mananitas I had but that is like saying death by electric chair is better than death by gas chamber. Two left from this cardboard 4-pack. Sigh. What I don't get is, the Tapados were so good that I bought a tin. How come those other two suck so badly??
Lant63 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 RE Asia nit as good as the Suiza My first qdo very nice I enjoyed it for a change of pace My first punch DC. Very nice I like it better than the lusi and the hoyo. Very good best lusi I have had barely beat by the punch DC black coffee bakers cocoa yum. Plugged Old faithful Very smooth but for the price I would rather have a bcg they are a little richer. Sent by telepathic super powers -Stogie Boy 3

cigardude Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I enjoyed a few CC's this weekend while working around the yard/garage. 2005 montecristo #5, RA extra and a Quintero Favorito. 3
Popular Post Knilas Posted November 4, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 4, 2014 SLR Regios today. Love these! 5

This was actually over a couple days. I would have to say the lusi or the punch were the best. The RA are always great. Sent by telepathic super powers -Stogie Boy

Popular Post Habana Mike Posted November 5, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 5, 2014 Smoked a Behike 52 blind last night. The blinds are almost always NC. Guessed pretty much right off the bat though. Wan't just the whale tail that gave it away - absolutely stellar 6

1LegLance Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I can always handle rush hour traffic if I have a nice smoke...in my granddads 72 Chevy Truck or my 70 Suburban. Only sucks when in the wife's car as I don't smoke there. 3
Lotusguy Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Just had one of these last week! How did you like it?
BonVivant Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or no.1 from 1997 - amazing, how these are progressing - classics, IMHO 2
Onelove Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Best example of these I've had. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
... Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Trini Reyes on the way to work yesterday Nice! First time I see someone not cutting the cap but simply twisting it open. How is the draw you get with that technique?
Phillcore Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Nice! First time I see someone not cutting the cap but simply twisting it open. How is the draw you get with that technique? I usually get a decent draw this way, only had to cut one afterwards (a Reyes as well I think). I find I get more flavour this way, maybe it's the taste of the wrapper, not sure.
... Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Very cool, I'll try that next time I go for a fan tailed stick. Thanks for the info!
jdackerman Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 How did you like it? I really enjoyed it. I'm not great at review-y type language but it was one of those instances where it gave me exactly what I was looking for that day. Also I'm a total sucker for that band.
Phillcore Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Smoked an NC today, a mini CAO Brazilia on the way to work 2
