Maplepie Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 2002 LGC MdO no.2 someone send me from the latest GB somewhere - totally shipwrecked - what a waste of good tobacco - bleh ... That's a shame. I rather enjoyed that myself. What did you find off about it?
Knilas Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 BBF . ..and two fingers Glenlivet. Thanks for the stick, John... 3
Optic101 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 '13 Partagas P2. Nice medium strength, with leather and earth tones. Enjoyed it. 4

mk05 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 2002 LGC MdO no.2 someone send me from the latest GB somewhere - totally shipwrecked - what a waste of good tobacco - bleh Sounds like you got it from a vendor in EU who was looking to sell those desperately...like those VR Unicos back in the day.
LGC Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Sounds like you got it from a vendor in EU who was looking to sell those desperately...like those VR Unicos back in the day. Besides ones from the 70's... I've never been impressed by these cigars (mid 90's to 2002 samples). I'd rather have a No. 4 or No.1 any day.
mikek Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 This morning A double espresso and A Monte #4 HQ fantastic! 1
Popular Post tjohn7 Posted November 3, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 3, 2014 Had a nice SLR Regio yesterday. Fairly static flavor profile though I did get fleeting notes of caramel and chocolate which I did enjoy. On to the next one! 5
ap67 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 An AME MAY '13 PL Montecarlo paired with a wild-harvested Wuyi Rock Oolong tea. A great combo on a lazy afternoon. 2
Popular Post Arnehaj Posted November 3, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 3, 2014 Today a great H.upmann RR in the cigarclub. Real nice smoke Skickas från en telefon 7
b4z00k4 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Breakfast PLMC. Little better than the last, still meh. Won't be replacing these when they're gone. Lunch JLPC. Wonderful. Dried fruits with hints of nuts and just a touch of pepper. Just wrapped up a '13 BBF while waiting for my wife to get home. Absolutely fantastic. Buttery, sweet, a little nutty. 4
airtrade Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Partagas corona senior. From a fellow BOTL. 2
mk05 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Besides ones from the 70's... I've never been impressed by these cigars (mid 90's to 2002 samples). I'd rather have a No. 4 or No.1 any day. The OSU02 LGCs are good. It's not a cigar problem as much as it was a distributor problem.
canadianbeaver Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 A wonderful remembrance from my night at the Carnegie Club in NYC with Steve and Erich. One of them was so kind and gave me this, the only SLR I own Smoking it now. So unique, rich and fruitful, but jeez I am going to turn into a Hoover or a dyson! Think it needs a poke. Xo guys! 3
canadianbeaver Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Regrettably, as much as I appreciated the above cigar, she was a-plugged. So here is her replacement and accompanying beverage. 4
Popular Post Brah Posted November 4, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 4, 2014 Picked up a few fresh rolled Cubans at a local B&M today. Shared them with a few buds. 6
johndalton44 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Monte No 5. Perfect construction and great flavors for an enjoyable evening smoke. 3
