Another absolutely horrible new Vegueros mini Piramides. Extremely white solid ash but bitter to no end.

Then a really nice Trini Reyes BD2008.

Since I was at a local B&M I smoked a stick I picked up there - Herrera Esteli short corona. Very nice, if a bit mild.

i meant "insistence on subjecting" whoops, glad to hear as I could never be the guinea pig LOL!!

just had a may 13 p short as a nightcap, still too harsh and young going to lay them down for a few months

August 12 Punch Churchill

May have my facts wrong but the Punch bands with RE in the centre were only on regular production cigars until '09

Correct. The Punch Churchill was also discontinued in 2010. At least according to the Cuban cigar website. But then again its Cuba afterall and remember they said they discontinued the Partagas Culebra and they are still being made. Interesting maybe the O.P. has more info on what the code was.
