A couple nights ago, smoked a wonderful Partagas 898 given to me by a nice BOTL. Great smoke to watch Derek Jeter's last home game. Bottom of the ninth single RBI to win the game. #2 will be a Yankee legend.

Punch Serie D'Oro No 2--what a fantastic cigar. Peanut butter for days. Glad to have grabbed a box from Rob, although this particular one is from a friend. Anxiously awaiting arrival of the box after smoking this.

PLPC EMA SEP 08. It took 6 years in the cab for me to really like these. That is what alot of you guys told me, 5 or 6 years minimum. I taste sweet toasted tabacco with cedar and barely some black pepper. Dark honey flavors. None of the sharp/ bitterness that was present young. Aroma is superb. Great after breakfast w my coffee. This reminds me why I love cuban cigars so much!

I totally agree!!!! I have same box. I smoked 1 of the last 5 of the box this week and it was amazing!!!! One of the top 5 cigars year to date for me. The first 45 of these were meh. So, mental note, 6 years for PLPC.

I am so glad to have about 15 sticks left. I dont know how the current productions are aging but I feel like getting a cab and put a note on it, " Don't open till 2019".
