It's my first foray into Bourbon. Tried some Blantons at Art's place. Bought some BT. Hated it, cursed his name and now I've come around. . Wonderful notes of newspaper, decomposing trash, cardboard, and dirt, followed by a whispering aftertaste of bitter leather and plastics. Done after half inch. Moving onto La Aurora Cameroon Robusto. subport Posted September 7, 2014 Share Posted September 7, 2014 After a brilliant Magnum 46 yesterday I decided to go with its bigger brother H.Upmann Magnum 50. Really young box (BUM ENE 14) but absolutely approachable. Clearly young tobacco taste but not bitter/harsh notes. Not at all. I did like it down to the nub but to be honest I prefer the 46 a lot more. In size in blend and in every way.
