MountMandolin Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I was thinking of springing for A box of these, glad to hear there smokeing good! The box of 10 wide churchil's I got last year were excellent! Yeah, these are PUM MAR 13 (I think that's the factory, but I know that's the right date), and the one I smoked yesterday was just excellent. Might have be buying more RyJ in the future. Would have bought one of the Short Churchill boxes from LFTW if I had known what a nice flavor profile the marca was capable of having. Smoking a really nice Epi 2. It's from NOV 12, I believe. Whenever it's from, it's terrific. 1
yankees9588 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 HdM for me last night, first third was absolutely divine, in the middle it was a bit under filled so it became a bit of a harsh wind tunnel, but i battled through it and the rest was great. 2

yankees9588 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 NC for me tonight, a Davidoff Special R robusto, these are usually solid performers for me but this one was a dud. It was harsh, bitter, and just overall was not good. A rare occurrence with Davidoff in my experience.
mncz Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Bluffed out of poker tonight (Cheers, TheDude003). Oh well, watching the rest of the game while listening to Game of Thrones audiobook and I've still got this beautiful sucker to enjoy! 2
mk05 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 '98 FR Punch DC. Grapefruit, maybe a touch too bitter on this example. '97 Hoyo Esplendido 2

Popular Post Habana Mike Posted August 15, 2014 Popular Post Posted August 15, 2014 Over the past couple of days: XV Aniversario - Canada gets some great cigars. RACF - smoking wonderfully at the moment Petit Belicosos - UK gets some great cigars too! 5
ShortFatHokie Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Making up for lost smoking time today. I've only had one cigar in the last two weeks, I have smoked two since getting off work this afternoon. First was a Saint Luis Rey Regios...tons of stone fruit with cedar and toasted tobacco mixed in. Second one is an ERDM Choix Supreme...milk coffee, caramel, and bean. Very interesting cigar. 1
