At the Perth Herf yesterday;

Epi No2 - pretty good. certainly hit the spot after 6 weeks of no smoking

Monte 5 - Great. Not aprticularly in your face monte profile, but it was there in the background. Nice and relaxing either way.

Padron 1926 #35 or something - Meh. It was better than other cubans ive had, but it just didnt really impress with anything nice.

Cohiba Secretos - Nice full flavour, but i think the other smokes before were kind of making me fed up of smoking (can you be over smoked out)?

Then after dinner with cousins had a few puffs of a Upmann Coronas Major AT. Very strong and harsh but full flavoured. Spicy and leather. At this point my cold was in full swing so I couln't really taste much in any case.

Good day... Cheers boys for the herf as always :)ok.gif

Mus you should just post a photo of your face with the Padron ;) all that needed to be said

ULA FEB 14 - LGC #4 I know it's very young, but I wanted to see how this box compares to my '13 box.

And, how does it?

It had some great moments, but I think I'll wait a good while before sampling again.

The '13s on the other hand are fantastic! Going to have to try hard to make them last!

After a long week at work decided to finally open my 2006 box of Partagas Serie de Connoisseur 1s. Beautiful smoke with your classic Partagas flavors but slightly more nuanced due to the age. The thing that really came across was a real sweetness that underlay the whole thing. Like syrup or molasses, vanilla extract. ahe2y7an.jpgDamn shame these are gone. Great smoke that will only get better with time

Re: La Punta

I have been looking at these,do they require much age after 2013?

I'll check the box code but I think these are August '13s and are smoking very nicely already! been good to go after a month or so in a desktop

Outstanding Upmann RR from the OR, despite the splitting foot (very humid in Germany right now).

MAR 13. These are ready now. Ubfortubately my impatience in checking if they have come around resulted in smoking 10 not ready cigars from the box.

Petite Edmundo ALT JUN 13, first out of a 10ct box. About through with the second third and it's got this wonderful baker's chocolate upfront with a woody finish and great retrohale.

Monte No. 4

I have a box with the exact code and date but I am smoking from a '12 box at the moment.

How is it now?

I was digging in my MGR DIC 12 box before I got this one. Both boxes are smoking great, but I like MER JUL 13 HQ better. I think I will smoke these first :)

Custom Cubans and craft brew makes me happy!

The last of my '12 HL torps and a local beer.
