An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Looks a bit aged with that solid box press...CE?

It's actually the end smoke from a 2013 BPC box.

Way too big to pass QC but I'm happy they crammed it in there, as it's tasting D-lish!

Oh, and Mr. Squash nuts maplepie, I haven't used an IG filter for over 2 years. My cigar porn game has graduated my son.

I'm REALLY trying to age my cigars for the first time, but it's hard when they're this good . . .

The single malt was good, by the way, if anyone's interested--not great, but good. It's basically a sweeter, more balanced version of Glenfiddich 12 or Glenlivet 12. So if that's the flavor profile, strength, etc. you're looking for in a whisky and you have the extra money to drop on it, go for the AnCnoc. It's a pretty light "summer-y" whisky with lemon, tea and honey notes. I like Compass Box's Great King Street better, though, which is a blend and comes with an even cheaper price tag. All of these light whiskies seem to go really well with the Epi 2, though, regardless.

Cheers!

Fancied a quick smoke before I start getting ready for bed. It's 10pm here and I've got an early start!!!

This Bolivar PC is doing the trick quite nicely!!! It's a very young cigar...ULA Feb '14. PSP quality from our host. Despite the youth...some beautiful sweet chocolatey/coffee flavours coming out already!!! It's like a hot chocolate before bed!

2 photos from my phone as the first wasn't very good quality (low light) and the second makes it look absolutely pitch black with the flash!!

Had to come back and put a follow up having finished the BPC...what an absolute little firecracker! So much flavour packed in to a petit cigar!

Ok, not perfect...at least not yet anyway. The smoke was a little harsh especially coming into the final third but I guess that's to be expected given it's age.

Think the real trick is going to be trying to stay away from them and let them age a bit because when those flavours and the smoke mellows a bit that's going to be one hell of a stand up cigar! What a fine way to end the evening!!

Siglo VI....excellent!

Guessing a 2013? I have found the 10s to lack the omphh I like in a cigar.

June 09 8-9-8, everything a cigar should be....... sitting on the front porch in a calm 78 degrees helped the experience.
