Habana Mike Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Started the day with a '98 Cabinet Partagas Lonsdale, quite nice leather, earth and strength still. Followed with an afternoon LFDC UK RE, fresher Parti Short with a Broker's G&T while grilling. That Broker's 47 proof is a very good Gin! Am smoking a Monte DE just now after some nice grilled salmon, smoked corn on the cob and a decent Napa Chardonnay. I find the DE a pleasant lighter-bodied and creamy yet flavorful smoke with shortbread, orange peel and balsa wood notes along with an herbaceous and mildly peppery retrohale. Very decent foil for some Ardbeg neat.
