Lotusguy Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Working through my miscellaneous singles box... A very nice PL Lonsdale RE Alemana. Heard mixed reviews about construction of those but this one was spot on! Impossible to find now 4
finecigar Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Tried to enjoy a '11 Part Mille Fluer but I was wrong for thinking I could mix it alright with my sinus infection looks like I will take a week or two break depending how long this lasts! A shame since spring finally started to show it's color
headstand Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Monte Edmundo. As others have said it is not a complex smoke, but I wanted to catch up on a couple of hours of podcasts so it did the trick.

Popular Post Jeremy Festa Posted April 23, 2014 Popular Post Posted April 23, 2014 Okay, really weird occurrence just happened! I smooth talked my way into having this cigar (SLR Serie A). We had an epic meal at home. Long story short, my dad was gifted 10 dozen Tasmanian oysters by his fishmonger mate (longer story for another time) and gave 2 dozen to my wife at lunch today. So, we thought we would splurge a little to match the dinner. I opened a Louis Roederer. Anyway, dinner was epic! Nice little antipasto plate, oysters, some Asian inspired steamed Snapper. I complemented the chef and said it needed to be finished rightly. So, with permission, I grabbed a PSP Serie A from the man himself. Cheers Rob! 20 mins in, my wife walks out to the back balcony and wants to try. She is a gastronomic genius and I am a lucky man, and I am intrigued to hear her thoughts on it. She is not a smoker, apart from the odd cigarette, going back many years when she was well inebriated. She has sampled a few cigars here and there, when in the mood but never really took to the whole experience. But this most recent experience has her very intrigued! As we are both foodies, I am constantly pontificating to her about the glorious flavour profiles of cigars. Anyway, I ask her about this Serie A, and what she takes away from it, and she says "Vanilla." And she acted all surprised. "Nice dessert?" I say. So, at the end of the day...I am stoked! Salute, Jeremy From my mobile phone 7
fingerburner Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Upmann Connie A. Slightly firm draw but a ton of flavour. Yet to be disappointed with these.

potpest Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Do you have the box code by any chance? It's from a BAM AUG13. Wouldn't get too excited though, this was worlds apart from the first 4 ive had from it.

MattW Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Had a HDM Epicure No.2 over the Easter weekend. I picked it up in Amsterdam at the beginning of the year, it's from the Dutch distributor's Aged programme, this one being from 2008. One of the dullest wrappers I've seen in a while! Overall it was a good Epicure No.2, nothing too special, but enjoyable! Could probably have done with a year or two more.
