Rye Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 How did this smoke? I have a box from 2009 that I haven't touched in years and wondered how they are coming along.I have 2 of these boxes from 08, and I'm now having a very hard time keeping my hands off of them. Great cigars 1

MattW Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Had a Davidoff Grand Cru No.5 on Saturday night, my first Davidoff. Picked this single up in the Davidoff shop in London in October last year. Very good construction, perfect draw and a flawless burn. Was ok overall, Mild-to-Medium bodied, but a tad bitter throughout and no real or interesting flavours to be honest, which was a real shame as it showed promise!
backslide Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I smoked a stellar RASCC from 2012, I would say the box is of PSP quality even though I didn't get them from Rob
bresdogsr Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 BPC on the back deck. Was my first box purchase and I am glad I got them.
fabes Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Tried a little experiment today. Had a JL 1, then had a JL 2 immediately after just so I could see what differences I could tell. While I really like the cg vitola, I preferred the JL 2 and found it to have a more pleasant citrus character.
BigE514 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Had a RASS to see how they're doing and they improved so much from when I got them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mr Cholmondley Warner Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 A Brisbane arvo, on the deck in the hammock.......Sailor Jerry and PSD#4
Andrew11 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Robaina Farm Roll from Mar 14. Smoked pretty good for such a young cigar. 2
bigbwalls Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Petit Edmundo. August 13 date on the box. Without a doubt, the most flavorful PE I've ever smoked. Creamy coffee and salted nuts. Just great. 1
Troels Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 An okay mc pe on my way to a fishing site by the familys cottage ( had a single smallish sea trout). Just about to finish rass from 2012 now that is just about approachable

finecigar Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Unfortunately a very close passed away this week as well as a son of a friend who ended his life.... Has been an emotional downpour for my family and I so now I am trying to relax and smoke in their honor filling time thinking of the memories. Dedicating a Cohiba GR and a Monte A from '95 for these two lost souls who died tragically. 4
Rye Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 It's Tuesday, mid April, and snowing again. Reason enough for me 4
SurpriseMVP Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 12 RyJ cec 13 POU RyJ Churchill from a dress box The cedro was OK. The Churchill was a tad tight, opened up halfway through and was a great smoke. Mike 3
KoreanCowboy Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Padron 1926 No.2 Natural A great disappointed, grassy taste all alone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Of the hundreds of Padrons, yet alone 1926's, I have NEVER had a Padron that tastes grassy. Hard for me to even imagine one tasting grassy.
