Partagas Lusitanias - of course I didn't like it, but I had to try on my mission to give every available DC a shot. So far the RA Gigantes is by far the leader. Only the Punch DC could still push it off the throne. post-7384-13962130338443.jpg

Another awesome 13' PLPC literally recieved a week ago. I know its not advised to smoke em this fresh but I always try one ROTT and I've smoked 4 so far and every one has been great. Real spice through the nose, cuban tobacco twang and leather on the palate with an underlying cream aspect. For my taste I prefer the mongrel in a young PLPC but we'll see If I can even get close to letting this cab hit 3-5yrs to get to that real cream/caramel aspect they hit at that time.

Interesting experience with an 08 Siglo VI on Sunday (v early) morning, after stumbling in from watching the rugby (and many brews afterwards). More than a little tipsy, I thought I would fire up something nice to cap the evening. But I was completely overpowered by the grassy and beans flavour much to my surprise (but not harsh at all). So dominant, have never experienced anything like it before.

And much to my shame I couldn't handle it. My palate had no doubt been ruined by many hours or dinking beforehand, but I barely lasted 10 puffs. Had the sense to wait until the cigar went out, clipped off the burnings, wash, then triple bag for the fridge. It should be fine. Ill feel fine by tomorrow as well......

How would you describe it Robbie?

Completely satisfying. Medium but full flavor. Has decent strength nicotine wise. No harshness at all until the very end. Real Monte flavors and blend.
