An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

A RASS, with a coffee and the Taipei 101 in front of me blocking out the sun. The RASS was a boring as sh*t smoke, thank god the coffee helped me stay awake during the smoke.

One of those recent skinny German Bolivar REs this morning. Wonderful cigar. Started mild yet tasty. By the 1/3 mark, strength greatly increased & the trademark Boli earthiness took over.

Partagas Shorty with a tall glass of Crown Royal and a splash of soda. Now this is a great cigar...kind of like the spice of a PCE with the midrange on the palate of a monte 4. Out on the deck, the sun has set, the crickets are chirping, but fall is in the air.

Early 08 Mag 46 last night. So consistently good...The more I smoke, the more these rise to the top when compared to many other offerings.

Finally had my first cigar in over a month on Friday. Had a Montecristo No. 4 (Nov. 2007 "BLP" box). Light claro wrapper, with some prominent green spots; draw was firmer, but still decent; burn and ash were both spot-on excellent. Some toasted spices, black coffee, leather, a bit of cloves and wood.

It was a decent return back to the leaf after an extended miss, but with about an 86 score, it didn't rock my boat and I was hoping for more. Maybe I'll smoke a CoRo later on this week, to help get back into the stride of things again....

99 Partagas TPC- consistanly nice cigars, but I'm running low. 07 Diplo #5. As bad as the last one was, was how good this one was. Good old Cuban consistancy.

Had to bump this. I love reading the daily smokes. And forgot about it the last two days.

Smoking 03/10 BBF. Very muted. Over humidified with little flashes of flavor. Just got them in two days ago. Should have waited. But such a beautiful night couldn't resist.

Two nights ago a monte 5 and cuaba divino. Both need to be put away for awhile.

Last night 07 punch petit punch. Fantastic. Burned my fingers. Have half box left to smoke and one put away. These are amazing.

Thank you

Kwg116.

Bolivar corona jr teb oct 08

Fantastic. I remember Rob talking about these awhile ago and always wanted a box. Finally broke down and bought one. Just arrived last night and swore wasn't touching this shipment for a month. That lasted about 26 hours. Decided to smoke one. Wow. These are going to give my cab of teb bpc's a run. Ordering another box tomorrow.

Thank you

H. Upmann Magnum 46 tubos, May 2008 "OBE" box code - fairly nice, paired with a Lipton yellow label tea. Pre-light of honey and cloves, burn was great, a bit tanic, some florals with slight molasses/brown sugar, tangy, a bit harsh (very windy afternoon). Not bad though - an 87.

RASCC: Bad. Kept going out, muted flavors. Probably a bit wet.

Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos: Bad. 1/2 of the head was plugged, so I clipped it. Flavors were ok, but unravelled (as expected) and started tasting ... well, like nothing much.

San Cristobal El Principe: Perfect draw, fantastic flavors, 1/3 in and loving it. Glad the night ended on a good note

Enjoyed a lovely U.Upmann Monarch (07 Czar box). I think three years is too soon to light this baby up. Draw and burn were excellent. Very much typical upmann falvors throughout. Very enjoyable and look forward to smoking these for years to come. Shame they discotinued this excellence Churchill.
