tmac77 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 2011 Montecristo No. 2 Gran Reserva Consecha 2005... to celebrate your last day of relaxation prior to your new Job art?
tmac77 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Smoking a nice Monte #4 today in order to restore my faith in the monte brand after having a couple of very disappointing Monte Double Edmundo's in Havana last week.

Orion21 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Amazing cigar. Very dark and brooding in the first third, with a great sweetness. In the second this it has mellowed. Fantastic.
Jeremy Festa Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Amazing cigar. Very dark and brooding in the first third, with a great sweetness. In the second this it has mellowed. Fantastic. A firm favourite! But where's the pairing?

Bartolomeo Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Smoking a nice Monte #4 today in order to restore my faith in the monte brand after having a couple of very disappointing Monte Double Edmundo's in Havana last week. I smoked three of the Double Edmundos, didnt care for any of them, will revisit them in time The petit piramide was better but not ready yet IMHO
CaptainQuintero Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I haven't heard a single glowing report on the new monte DE :S Swing and a miss?

tmac77 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Smoking a superb La China custom handed out at the Partagas Festival opening dinner exactly one week ago today in Havana.
Bolismoker Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Well you don't see this everyday! A 2013 CoRo from a friend. I swore it was going to fall after I touched it up after the first third, but it just kept going, and going. First one I've smoked until the end without ashing. That's a great pic. I hope you don't mind that I saved a copy
Rye Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 That's a great pic. I hope you don't mind that I saved a copy I'd be happy to email you a full sized copy.
Orion21 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Not impressed. Smooth smoke, but almost no flavor aside from being sour. Inch and a half in and I hope it improves.
SigloVI Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Not impressed. Smooth smoke, but almost no flavor aside from being sour. Inch and a half in and I hope it improves. Sorry to hear that. I've smoked quite a few and all have been incredible!
Lant63 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Sorry to hear that. I've smoked quite a few and all have been incredible! I love mine as well!!
mk05 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 A really nice Hoyo DC and a Monte Especiales #2 from a generous BOTL.
Tino Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Last night a Por Larranaga Belicosos Extra and then a Bolivar Churchill Tubos from 1996
Jeremy Festa Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 A sweet little post-dinner PLPC from '06. The perfect dessert! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CurtisEss Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 This weekend: A LGC Medaille D'or #3 RSE AUG 02 ERDM Corona de Luxe SXF AUG 05 Both very subtle. The LGC wins on complexity and evolution. Great little cigar! Too bad they don't make any 28 RG sticks anymore...
LeafLover Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Its light bodied, medium flavored. Woody, nutty like cashews with sharp finish. As a finisher, this cigar wouldn't do the job. But for a morning smoke, its enjoyable.
