An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Wednesday, and gain last night. Noteworthy because these are the first cigars from a 2005 vintage program box that I actually enjoyed. Prior to these examples, the cigars where always harsh and biting. I guess the lesson here is patience, patience, patience. Too bad I only have a half dozen left.

Mother Nature has been a fickle woman to these parts this year. Now I'm in the shop hiding from the outdoors to enjoy this gifted '01 Sancho Panza Molinos. post-13208-13835025528483.jpg

JLS1... or should say JL Half Corona! pod.gif I had to cut off almost 2 inch at the head, wasn't just tight but completely solid. Smoked fine after that.

PL Monte Carlo.. wonderful. yes.gif

Actually the Malbec DOC deserves a bolivar RC or similar but the duty free in Frankfurt (c gates) and Buenes Aries are useless!

Sitting on my hotel balcony in Casco Viejo, Panama City, enjoying a Cain Daytona Lancero.

Anybody any suggestions for good places/lounges to have a smoke down here? It seems like they don't support our hobby that much in Panama, even outdoor restaurants and Casinos don't like smokers...

Enjoying an RJ Short Church...only from FEB13 but man this thing is just loaded with awesome short bread, sweetness, and cedar. Hopefully the rest of this box smokes as good. Drinking some Starbucks thanksgiving blend. Nice Monday morning!

R+J Belicosos. Wonderful R+J flavour, really love this macra when it tastes right. Creamy, cherry with a bit a fizz! Spot on.

What did you think about the LFDC Grandiosos?

thought it was pretty good, started off with a sort of generic profile and got a lot more flavor an inch in but lost it after the second third (i don't take notes so i forget any flavors unless they stand out)

i wasn't blown away by it but expectations were high, not a bad smoke but will be interesting to see how this develops and a note that it had only been resting for a week with no dry boxing which i always do so it was slightly wet for my tastes (i smoke my cigars dry)

as it stands now i'm not rushing to cop more boxes, going to let them sit for awhile
