headstand Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 PSD4 Wednesday, and gain last night. Noteworthy because these are the first cigars from a 2005 vintage program box that I actually enjoyed. Prior to these examples, the cigars where always harsh and biting. I guess the lesson here is patience, patience, patience. Too bad I only have a half dozen left.
Rye Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Last night started with a great '08 Partagas 898 Followed by a gifted BGM And so far today a fantastic LGC no.3 from 2002. Finger burnin good!

Rye Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Mother Nature has been a fickle woman to these parts this year. Now I'm in the shop hiding from the outdoors to enjoy this gifted '01 Sancho Panza Molinos.
Blakes Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 JLS1... or should say JL Half Corona! I had to cut off almost 2 inch at the head, wasn't just tight but completely solid. Smoked fine after that. PL Monte Carlo.. wonderful.

Webbo Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Actually the Malbec DOC deserves a bolivar RC or similar but the duty free in Frankfurt (c gates) and Buenes Aries are useless!

SokaKiel Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Sitting on my hotel balcony in Casco Viejo, Panama City, enjoying a Cain Daytona Lancero. Anybody any suggestions for good places/lounges to have a smoke down here? It seems like they don't support our hobby that much in Panama, even outdoor restaurants and Casinos don't like smokers...
TomBolivar Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Enjoying an RJ Short Church...only from FEB13 but man this thing is just loaded with awesome short bread, sweetness, and cedar. Hopefully the rest of this box smokes as good. Drinking some Starbucks thanksgiving blend. Nice Monday morning!
Blakes Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 R+J Belicosos. Wonderful R+J flavour, really love this macra when it tastes right. Creamy, cherry with a bit a fizz! Spot on.
Larsy Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Monte 4 from the last LFTW. Outstanding. Thanks Pres, might order another box

maverickdrinker Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 ^nice smoked a la flor grandio and qdo corona What did you think about the LFDC Grandiosos?
Rye Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Long shadows, long faces, long lunch! Sitting down with the neigh-bors to enjoy this Reyes.
ramon_cojones Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 What did you think about the LFDC Grandiosos? thought it was pretty good, started off with a sort of generic profile and got a lot more flavor an inch in but lost it after the second third (i don't take notes so i forget any flavors unless they stand out) i wasn't blown away by it but expectations were high, not a bad smoke but will be interesting to see how this develops and a note that it had only been resting for a week with no dry boxing which i always do so it was slightly wet for my tastes (i smoke my cigars dry) as it stands now i'm not rushing to cop more boxes, going to let them sit for awhile
