Lant63 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Tonight a Johnny O flying pig. However, I've been smoking a lot of the PL Encantos and they are outstanding. My box is smoking like my '08 PLPC, just in a larger format. What is the flavor profile on those johnny o?

sengjc Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Cabanas Perfectos. Paired with some Bowmore 11 Years Old bottled by Hart Brothers. The malt is so-so but the smoke does bring a smile to my face after a weary long day at work.
canadianbeaver Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Absolutely wonderful!!! And love the band too.
Dbone Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 What is the flavor profile on those johnny o? They flying pigs, difficult to say. They were rolled less than 2 months ago, so they're a bit inconsistent. I had one which was a floral bombshell, must of had a pinch more of this or that. The rest, probably have had half of a dozen are a mix of Upmann and Punch with a faint underline sweetness. Considering their age, pretty good and construction is spot on. Will revisit after a long winters rest.
ramon_cojones Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Last thursday smoked the VR xv that was gifted from shlomo. Cigar was very nice, nearly nubbed it and good flavor. I don't know how much these cost but I'm pretty sure they'd be cost prohibitive to me.
Rye Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Frankenstogie! The lengths I go through to try a cigar sometimes! Repaired damage from transit with rice paper rollies and fruit pectin glue. Let rest for a year and the oils from the cigar already started changing the color of the repairs
