An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

About a year ago, I asked EL Prez for a recommendation. He came back with some "Cracker" LA GLORIA CUBANA MEDAILLE D'OR NO.2

Tonight, I sparked up my second one from the 07 box.

An oily, beautiful specimen, that smells of deep barnyard, she is filled with unique flavors that I am unacustomed to. Extremely tasty, medium + body, and as Rob said, a cracker. What a great change of pace when compared to my normal diet of Habanos.

I will do my best to limit my consumption of this box, as it seems that age will only to continue to improve this smoke.

Yesterday, a Romeo y Julieta "Short Churchills" tubo, September 2008 "EPR" box code.

Ehhhhh. I had done some house cleaning earlier in the day, and as usual, I forgot about it when I decided to light up this stick - the chemical tones on my palate and nasal cavity from using the cleaners heavily affected my taste and perception of this cigar.

Pre-light was still spot on and very discernable though - some cream, toast, and fruity & floral tones (cherries & roses?). But my taste buds were compromised temporarily from the chemicals. Couldn't really rate it.

Enjoyed a wonderful Upmann Magnum 46 (09)...while keeping a watchul eye on a city racoon..big sucker. Aroma at cold was the typical barnyard aroma. Great construction, draw and burn (there hasn't been a flaw in the whole box). Notes of of leather, wood and dark chocolate abound...the 09s are really, really good. They've got years ahead of them, but I can't keep my hands off them.

Having the last of the hand finished Partagas Milles Fluers I'm purging from the humidor as I move up to the higher tier cigars.... these were very very hit and miss, but this last one is THICK with flavor.. I'd swear it was a monte 4 in my hands with a splash of spice.

RASCC . TEB Jul07.

Shazam!

And this poor little fella was taken on 4 plane rides in a plastic lunchbox. Never expected such a great smoke full of earth and old leather. Heaven.

Mike the cigar magician!!

We should catch up sometime and have a chat about your holiday mate.
