Ophidion Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Let me know how those 54 are. I was disappointed with the 109 but I have a 54 yet to try.
ramon_cojones Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 **** i have a 54 i forgot about haha
Blakes Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 '08 Cuaba Limited Edition Piramides, very interesting cigar, first I've had. Reminded me a little bit of a cross between a Bolivar and a HQ box of Divinos I've had recently, but with more age. I enjoyed it.
sengjc Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Saint Luis Rey Regios. A lovely mellow medium bodied profile, chocolate and honey with a coffee finish, all mixed together. Floral notes thrown in. Balanced and complex. One of the lesser known of the Cuban marques that is a personal favourite. Lovely start to a sunny Saturday.
Blakes Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 2006 Edicion Regional Asia Pacifico Ramon Allones Estupendos... How did you find these? I've got a handful of singles coming... From the '07 release though, been wanting to try these for some time now.
sengjc Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Olivia Serie V Double Robusto. Chilling out after dinner out with the wife and mates.
Philprop Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Does look like a Cuban Davidoff but '03? As far as I know, they were all discontinued in '91. It is quite possible I misheard the year when he said it. His British accent confused me. Next time I speak with him I'll confirm the year. It was an amazing experience smoking it though. Like nothin I've ever smoked. It was like every draw revealed new flavours and at the end they all combined. Best smoke I've had that's for sure.
maverickdrinker Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 How did you find these? I've got a handful of singles coming... From the '07 release though, been wanting to try these for some time now. Really enjoyed it. Havent had any 07s though.... Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk 2
maverickdrinker Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Would like to know your thoughts on his Cigar Mav ! Was really enjoying it until it accidently rolled under my foot and got squashed..... Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk 2
Louich Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Does look like a Cuban Davidoff but '03? As far as I know, they were all discontinued in '91. Dead on man. Even the NC Davidoff are supposed to be real nice anyhow. I writjng this while smoking a young Boli PC. If I could just forget the rest of them for a couple of years they will turn out wonderful.
Rye Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 A gifted Churchill-ish sized naked, but neat footed cigar. I asked what it was when he gave them to me, and he just replied "just smoke it". When I pressed he said "an old custom something or other" I need more info, as it is amazing! At one moment I think, "I know exactly what this is" then it changes. Great flavor and complexity, and progression and transition like I haven't experienced. And I'm only at the half...
Ssmith114 Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 2010 ERDM Choix Supreme.. These are smoking great now!
Pilgrims Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Seriously good PLPC, looked great, smoked great!!
Jeremy Festa Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Seriously good PLPC, looked great, smoked great!! Enjoying an outrageously good '06 PLPC right now! #frothing
sengjc Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Oliva Master Blend III Double Robusto. Gifted by Matt when Scotty was visiting Melbourne about a month back. Seen here paired with some ***** Whisky from the Barrel. Excellent pairing, the sweet sherried malt balances the mildly toasty profile of the smoke, one complementing the other. Thanks Matty, this is is very enjoyable.
maverickdrinker Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 2009 Edicion Regional Benelux Punch Punch Royal...
riazp Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Ramon Allons Superiors last night, picture up on the mtlcigarclub IG account. SPlendid smoke as usual. These need to be regular production. Love the size and profile
Blakes Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Just finished a LGC MDO NO.4 Love the size. Lovely smoke, needs some age but I'm finding it hard to keep my hands off them.
