Mr.T Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 NC - La Aurora 107 Robusto last night. A pleasant smoke.
Perla Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Cigars for today's Wedding Day Anniversary dinner Meinen herzlichen Glückwunsch an Dich & Inge. Und das noch ganz viele Hochzeitstage kommen werden. Schönes Gedeck!
canadianbeaver Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 What the heck. Smoke 'em if ya got 'em. It's actually very nice.
Blakes Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 A R+J PC... from a '12 HQ box... Superb cigars, full of cream, cherry and fizz!
Hafner32 Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Had a 2011 Diplomaticos #2. My first from the line, now I truly know what people are talking about when they mention "floral" aromas and taste. Really enjoyable
B3n Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Had one of my rare journeys to non-Cuban cigars: Padron 1926 40th Anniversary Maduro Starts off with way too much white pepper on the retro-hale to my from-aged-cubans-distorted-taste, but settles down to a chocolate ground aroma with nice crushed black pepper later on. Espresso-/cocoa-bitterness, hay, dried peat and mint accents join towards the end of the second third. And the last third is really outstanding with leather, dried fruits, tanginess and a mix of nuts roasted in honey and maple sirup.
Nino Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Meinen herzlichen Glückwunsch an Dich & Inge. Und das noch ganz viele Hochzeitstage kommen werden. Schönes Gedeck! Danke Perla - und Schade dass Du uns morgen in der Apotheke fehlen wirst .... ! :-(( Smoked the Punch ER UK and it was a great, creamy smoke full of intriguing aromas that lasted throughout the dinner and beyond ! Will keep the CGR for tomorrow's pharmacy cigar meeting and report back.
Dara Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Cigars for today's Wedding Day Anniversary dinner Happy Anniversary to Inge & yourself Nino! Enjoy the day and the cigars!

Hubba Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Hoyo de Monterrey Grand Epicure 2013 EL what's the word on this one Simon?
Ssmith114 Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 2001 Diplo No.4.. Rough start but turned into a really good smoke! Also one of the whitest ash I've ever seen on a habanos
CaptainQuintero Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Hoyo de Monterrey Grand Epicure 2013 EL I forgot about that band! What a crotch stuffer! How did it smoke Simon?
Strada Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 what's the word on this one Simon? I forgot about that band! What a crotch stuffer! How did it smoke Simon? 1- Too much bling on these for my liking...looks cheesy. 2- Reminded me of a fresh Genios. They need time to settle ( like most EL) but what I liked is that they didn't have that chocolate EL profile they overused..... In a 10ct box, I will bury one in my trunkador
sengjc Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Partagas Petit Coronas Especial. Commonly known as one of the stronger Partagas in current production, quite possibly the strongest. Certainly lives up to its reputation: bold, earthy and spicy. Paired with some Johnnie Walker Gold Label 18 YO the Centenary Blend. Not sure why they decided to discontinue this.
LordAnubis Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Dip 4 gifted by westg. It started off Apricot Sconne and finished off with Raisin Sconne. Magnificent. I think it's a bit strong o nthe nicotinne too, or it may be me not eating too much today or something.
