Habana Mike Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 It is my wineador set up. I built some singles display shelves on the glass door so I can stare at my regionals collection without disturbing them too much. It works great, and holds around 66 cigars, just in the door. Love it Rye, very nice setup and shots
Rye Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Love it Rye, very nice setup and shots Why, thank you, Habana Mike!
nikesupremedunk Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Surprised at how flavorful this stick was. Definitely going to be great in the future!
Bolismoker Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Enjoyed a great PSD4 tonight while walking the dogs. I hadn't had one in quite a while. For some reason I seem to forget how great these sticks are. One of the classics IMHO
finecigar Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Pretty decent NC. El Triunfador Belicoso. Alot of flavor!
Ssmith114 Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Having a wonderful 2012 San Cristobal Principe from a box I just recieved from our host! The aroma coming from the box was amazing I couldn't wait to try one. Lovely little smoke I'm enjoying with a coffee
Rye Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Trout fishing with my son and dog. The dog scared away everything but the memories! Really enjoyed another great SLR regio while spinning away!
Hafner32 Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Having a wonderful 2012 San Cristobal Principe from a box I just recieved from our host! The aroma coming from the box was amazing I couldn't wait to try one. Lovely little smoke I'm enjoying with a coffee I grabbed a box of these a few months ago as well. It's become my go-to cigar along with the PLPC when I have some time in the morning with my coffee.
westg Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 La Gloria Cubana No 4 2002 . Very strong lingering after taste of nicotine.
Ophidion Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 This. Been waiting a few months to start smoking these. There is a robusto (this one) canonazo and a DC in the auction I won this march. So far so very good.
nikesupremedunk Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 98 Boli Corona - surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because I haven't had much luck with vintage box pressed cigars.
scradley Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 La Gloria Cubana No 4 2002 .Very strong lingering after taste of nicotine. Have the lot of them been like this? I've just picked up a '12 box I plan on putting to sleep for a long while just curious as to what I can expect
Rye Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Well, it looks like I missed a few good boxes tonight, but worth it. Got to smoke with a great crowd tonight! Started with a '98 CoLa, that was perfect! Then lit a great Custom rolled Cuban given to me by the host. Both paired perfectly with company, and some kind of drink with Cuban rum in it!!
Jeremy Festa Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 A sneaky Party short to finish the day. Cheers Di!
Bolismoker Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 how could you forget That's a great question and all I can say is I'm not sure. I just know that I do forget how much I enjoy them. They are one of the special ones for sure. This evenings smoke was a nice little Boli PC
Bolismoker Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 98 Boli Corona - surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because I haven't had much luck with vintage box pressed cigars. I miss these so much. Used to be one of my staples.
westg Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Have the lot of them been like this? I've just picked up a '12 box I plan on putting to sleep for a long while just curious as to what I can expect It is not a mild cigar , this box anyway. Construction burn and draw have always been very good for me. I did like it. However a really strong after taste for a good 20 minutes or so post cigar. I do need to remind myself to smoke this format slowly. I have noticed a build up of tar at the foot of some cigars previously with the 3's as well which explains the strong after taste. I had a No 2 on the weekend which was amazing. Not sure how old it was as it was given to me. I am sure you will enjoy them good luck.
Perla Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 A gifted Partagas Lonsdale from a 50 cab without a band. Expected more of it. Had a very strong smell of incense. Smoke was very flat.
headstand Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Eight weeks into retirement and many tasty cigars to pass the afternoon. Seems everything tastes good in the shade of the walnut tree. Today a Punch PC. Nice rich smoke on this one.
tmac77 Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Back in Toronto after coming back from Paris and Germany. had to celebrate with a fine Piper-H and a Monte Gran Reserva.
headstand Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 BTW, I like how many of you have upped the quality and artistry of your photos - best I keep it to words lest I drag the quality down
